Horizon Shine

American Pale Ale

ghcb_ibu-legend-icon : 33        : 5.8%

It’s back! After a short hibernation we decided it was time to bring this Grist House classic back for you to enjoy.  This time we kicked up the dry-hopping which has given it a punch-you-in-the-nose aroma of clementine and citrus.  It’s well-rounded mouthfeel is punctuated with a pleasing touch of bitterness which will remind you why you loved this classic.

polyphemus-icon-1

Polyphemus

Double IPA

ghcb_ibu-legend-icon : 65        : 7.8%

Balance, in our minds, is crucial to a good Double IPA.  Overly malty sweetness to try and balance out the obscene amount of hops in a beer is now a thing of the past.  Polyphemus Double IPA hits you with aromas of pear, pine, and pineapple.  It then lingers on your tongue with marmalade and citrus.  It finishes with a refreshing malt/bitterness balance that pulls you back in for another sip.

Camp Slap Squared

American Amber Ale

ghcb_ibu-legend-icon : 68        : 7.2%

Camp Slap Red has a special place in all our hearts, but we had always wondered what a “bigger” version would taste like. So we present to you Camp Slap Squared!  This rendition has a slightly higher ABV and almost twice the amount of hops.  It hits you with grapefruit and resinous aromatics and drinks with an increased yet balanced hop bite.

girtys-orchard-icon-1

Girty’s Orchard

Dry-Hopped Farmhouse Ale

ghcb_ibu-legend-icon : 10        : 6.0%

Girty’s Orchard begins it’s life as a Farmhouse Saison, but then with some generous bouts of dry-hopping and the addition of peaches, it becomes something completely different.  Lemon and peach on the nose, a slightly tart first sip, and then a citrus and pepper finish make this the perfect beer for the transition from summer into fall.

undead-unicorn-1

Undead Unicorn

Pale Wheat Ale

ghcb_ibu-legend-icon : 30        : 5.0%

This unique beer is a delicious hybrid of a hoppy pale ale and a easy drinking wheat beer. So we aptly named it Undead Unicorn.  It’s aroma of berries and slight citrus is supported by a wheat malt backbone and a balanced hop bitterness.
